Carol Emberton

Carol Emberton is an experienced accounting professional with more than 25 years of expertise in bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll, and nonprofit accounting. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis and has built a career helping businesses and nonprofit organizations maintain accurate financial records and make informed financial decisions.

Before joining ATS, Carol held accounting and finance leadership positions in public accounting, private industry, and as the owner of her own accounting practice. Her background includes preparing financial statements, managing payroll, overseeing monthly and year-end closings, developing internal controls, and working closely with organizations to improve their financial processes.

 

For the past three years, Carol has been an accountant at ATS, where she provides bookkeeping services and prepares monthly financial statements for nonprofit organizations. She works closely with clients to ensure accurate financial reporting, assists with account reconciliations, grant tracking, and budgeting, and helps organizations maintain strong financial records to support their missions.
